7K a year Direct Wire & Cable is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our team! As a part of our amazing team, you will work closely with different departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines at Direct Wire.
Responsibilities:
Operate Laboratory testing equipment and perform product testing including daily inspection of production samples.
Perform in-process and routine quality inspections Manage the calibration of QC lab equipment.
Maintain MSDS library Develop quality SOP's and GMP's Support the development of the QMS Follow all company and department policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality and safety of personnel and products.
Responsible to report any deviations or quality issues to Management.
Create and track/report UL labels for monthly submission to UL.
Create and track/report quality and nonconformance issues per the Quality management system (Red Tag, Nonconformance and Corrective action procedures).
Support sales and customer service- technical questions, customer requests
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Analyst, Quality Technician or Quality related role.
Experience in a manufacturing or wire & cable industry preferred.
Experience with AUTO CAD a plus Yellow belt certification a plus Ability to read, write and interpret routine work instructions.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to read and interpret UL standards a plus Knowledge and understanding of Lean concepts and KAIZEN events Knowledge of QMS principles and ISO certification Must be able to travel on occasion.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
