Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office operations - Perform data entry, transcribe documents, and maintain accurate records - Assist with proofreading and editing documents for accuracy and clarity - Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring necessary items are stocked - Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate individuals - Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department - Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail or packages - Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars - Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software - Assist with organizing and maintaining office files and documents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office assistant or clerical role is preferred - Proficient in computer skills, including typing and using office software (Microsoft Office Suite) - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
